This record was born on a plane gangway when I happened to find myself in conversation with one of my favorite Producers, Brain Fechino. Anyway, long story short, to my grateful astonishment he asked to do my next project. What?! Yes, please!

Nearly a year later, we huddled happily in a tiny, cold office in the back of a diesel repair shop over a few nights in December '13 and laid the basics for this EP.

My trust and absolute respect for Fechino allowed me to unlock these songs more so than any others I've ever had the honor of putting down. I brought the songs, their truths as I understood them, and my voice. Fechino took it from there.

The result not only allows me to bring these songs to you but also gave me these songs - chosen from a batch of 30 or so - back to me as new, transformed, and more true. For me, a song being giving the chance to have its Truth heard is paramount.

All that, and we had a blast! Thanks for listening y'all!
